DGM / GM – Coal Mines   20 to 25 Years    South Africa

Job Description:
Managing entire operations with key focus on profitability & optimal utilization of resources .

Executing various mining projects for extraction of coal from under ground mines entailing design, selection and provision of machines, facilities and systems for mining.

Taking care of coal Mining Operations and Statutory/Safety aspects of mining.

Devising plans and directing various engineering aspects of extracting coal from earth involving preparation of initial plans for type, size, location and construction of opencast mines.

Determine most suitable method of mining coal taking into account factors such as depth, thickness and other characteristics.

Implementation of green-field mining projects including perusal with technical consultants, contractors and suppliers for timely commissioning, cost control of Projects.
Candidate should be good in English ( Written / Verbal ) ,Zulu and local language , good liaisoning capabilities , sincere , hard working , dedicated , intelligent & be able to influence . Computer literate, ability to understand technical specification and communicate /convincing effectively is must.

Compensation: Tax free (USD 10K – 15k /month)
